A terrified British Army private takes shelter in a church where he finds Dr Shaw, a Ancient Symbols expert. Shaw explains how he and his colleague, Dr Crowe, found hieroglyphics which led them to heart of Africa inside the titular falls. There, though, they found both the Elixir of Life they were looking for as well as a pair of monsters which threaten the future of humanity.
