It's a whole lot of money in the boxing rings of the Black Boxers and Training Association (BBTA). One of those rings is inside Billion Dollar Brawlers boxing gym. After being released from jail, Maverick Gibson started using his hands to control his anger at Billion Dollar Brawlers under trainer Orion "Big O" Charles. Controlling his anger led to him becoming the undefeated champion of BBTA.

Big O is more than a boxing trainer. He is a husband and a father to twin daughters, Neemah and Nyjah Charles. He built his business for his family. One twin learns more than the business. She learns she loves the money that can come from betting on fights. Her greed results in Daddy cleaning up her debts with other bidders. While cleaning up her mess, Big O keeps the other twin away from the boxing world but not from Maverick's thoughts. Illness hits Big O. He only wants to mend his daughter's broken heart before it becomes impossible. He also needs her to help her twin sister with her greedy habit. Something the twin finds impossible to do once Daddy is unable to. She struggles with grief, maintaining her career, learning the unknown, and her unexpectedly progressively moving relationship with Maverick.
