Ami Novak thought being Mayor of Bayou Dixie, Louisiana is a great honor until someone starts murdering town leaders leaving behind cryptic notes. She starts rethinking her position as well as fearing for her own life. Is she next on this mad man's hit list sweeping through her normal sleepy little bayou town? Joseph Kenneally is happy to go down to the Louisiana bayou for Christmas when Hank Patterson asks him to personally help investigate a murder while keeping a town's mayor safe. But he never expects that Ami Novak will ignite his dormant libido quicker than her spicy Gumbo.
