A Hell-born demon wants to visit Heaven for one day. But back-tracking the path of good intentions will birth vampires, the very creatures he is trying to thwart. However, one race of women will marry them in order to birth their destruction.

As the author's "anonymous" prologue explains, this story is told not from the beginning but before the beginning. Because a vampire hunter, no matter how great, must first have a vampire to hunt. Therefore, this story is called VOLUME ZERO--a fantasy novel that chronicles what happens when a well-intentioned demon hijacks another's plan to dominate man using vampires. This will birth the first vampire hunter-a dhampir, which will cause the making of more vampires and the demon's madness.

Over the millennia, dhampirs will live and die. Vampires will evolve. Even the mad demon will continue. Until a prophecy prompts the Romani women, vampires and the demon to play their parts in creating the most powerful dhampir ever born.
