Growing up in a world of violence, Stacy seizes her chance to cut ties with her abusive family and create a new life. Leaving everything behind, Stacy finds herself stranded on the remote northern Canadian highways. Determined to believe in the goodness of people she accepts a ride from a stranger who isn't as he appears.

Stacy is plunged into a night of violence and terror as she finds out that there are things far more horrifying in the woods than serial killers. As her torment pushes her to the brink, she must learn when to walk away, when to run, and when to stand her ground.
