When Thaddeus T. Cartwright and his loyal horse Bahamut are hired to escort a young priest on his quest to investigate an ancient evil, they find themselves facing a series of unspeakably gruesome murders. As the cursed wilderness bears down on them, their strength, resolve, and faith will be put to the test. In the shadows of a town painted red, survival, above everything, will become their greatest challenge. Will they triumph, or will the town, and their lives, be consumed by the Skinwalker?
