Bitten by the Vampire

Julia Beckett and Oz Ford have been best friends since they were kids. When Julia left town for art school a decade ago, Oz followed a month later. Skirting an attraction to each other over half their lives, things finally come to a head, and the two kiss.

Oz didn't have the best life. The one constant and the brightest thing in his life is Julia. It figures that the day he finally gets together with the love of his life is the day he dies. After a fateful night out with coworkers, Oz wakes up on the floor of a random apartment with memories of a group of mysterious women. He gets out of there and goes to Julia.

When fussing turns to passion and Julia feels a sharp twinge on her neck, they discover the truth. Oz is a vampire now. With a host of problems, including what their future will now look like, the appearance of Oz's sire and her intentions for him, throw the couple's plans into disarray.

But Julia's not giving up on Oz. He always has and always will be hers-no matter what some fanged jerk thinks.
