Tailgate Talk: Stories of a Christian Outdoorsman

Within these pages are the stories of a Christian outdoorsman's lifetime of adventures. Every outdoorsman has adventures to share - the thrill of a buck ambling toward your stand, the joy of hearing a gobble growing louder as a turkey draws near.

Experiences such as these are often relived from the tailgate of the truck at the end of a hunt. But the real joy of the hunt comes not from the success of the hunt itself but from the time spent with the ones you hunt with. Time spent with a friend, a son or daughter, a father, a grandfather, time spent around a campfire with yesterday's hunting legends. For the Christian outdoorsman, trips to the woods are time to spend with God as well as an opportunity to take in the beauty of His creation.

So let down the tailgate, sit back, and enjoy these stories. Perhaps you can visualize similar times and similar adventures. Perhaps you may have some stories to share as well.
