Life does not always prepare us for the unexpected. If we knew each move before it was made, I'm sure the outcome would be much different. As much as I wish I had been more prepared for what was about to take place in November 2016, I never knew that my six-year-old daughter would be in a tragic accident. No parent should endure the pain of losing a child. We carry them, give birth to them, cry and pray over them, nurture them, and have dreams and plans for their future, yet my daughter's life was tragically cut short that year. Of course, there was news coverage throughout the nation about it, but after all the interviews, the sorries, and the court battles, no one truly understood how things transpired up until that day as her mother. In this story, I share with you the final moments with my child, the terrifying time that I and my family had to undergo. The moment of reality took a turn for the worse.
