Takahiko Ishikawa: Judo's Quiet Master

Takahiko Ishikawa won the All Japan Judo Tournament twice in 1949 and 1950, taught judo to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, traveled to Cuba, and subsequently taught and raised the standard of judo in the Eastern United States. For being one of the more senior ranked judo players in the country, his name and deeds are only known to a few - localized students from Philadelphia and Virginia Beach.
