Chasing the Wild: Lizard Loose Inside the House

Chasing the Wild is an engaging picture book with captivating water color illustrations for nature loving boys and girls between the ages 2-8. The story is about a curious child named Haik who loves catching bugs and lizards outside. One day he catches a lizard and lets it loose inside the house creating chaos at home as Haik and his father are chasing after the lizard to catch him. Chaos soon turns into tears for Haik, when his father decides to set the lizard free. Haik's parents use this as a teachable moment to educate Haik about the importance of letting wild animals live free in nature where they belong.

There is a hidden grasshopper on most pages for a fun search and find activity for children and their parents. The book also includes bonus pages with information about insects with an illustration of the anatomy of a grasshopper with some fascinating facts about the insect.
