Nothing but the tide

After suffering a big loss, Sandra has been leading a quiet, solitary life in the countryside, near a marshland where tides transform the landscape several times a day. She is a journalist and a writer with almost no friends or relatives, so she spends most of her time writing, reading, and looking after her garden. She has just been trying to forget and carry on with her life.

The years pass by until one day, unexpectedly, her past comes back to haunt her: she receives an anonymous note with a threatening message. Although she cannot be sure who sent it and what they want, she suspects it is related to demons she has been trying to keep buried for a very long time.

At the same time, an old friend, Luis, contacts her: he is visiting the area and would like to see her, maybe spend some time together. She accepts, and this decision triggers a series of unpredictable consequences. Sandra is forced to deal with what Luis once meant to her and what happened between them twenty years ago.

The truth always has a way to get afloat: to find closure, set herself free, and be able to truly embrace life, Sandra will have to confront her deepest fears, let go of everything she lost, and learn the true meaning of love and forgiveness.
