This romantasy series is centered around the ancient Greek myths but with a modern take to the story. Author Anneliese Sky twists the Greek myths with a combination of ancient lore and modern realism. Each book is based on a specific myth with various gods and goddesses scattered throughout the pages.
Book One is based on the tragic Greek myth, Orpheus and Eurydice. Orpheus lost Eurydice on their wedding day! Orpheus travels to the Underworld and pleads with the god of the Underworld, Hades, and his queen, the goddess of spring, Persephone, to return his lost love to him. Hades instructs Orpheus to not look behind him until both of them leave the Underworld. Orpheus will lose Eurydice if he turns too soon. Orpheus can't resist and turns to see Eurydice standing at the edge of the Underworld. Orpheus loses her but makes a choice...he will defy Hades and attempt to steal Eurydice from the Underworld.
