Waignein: Little Concerto for Concert Band Grade 2, 6:56 Score and Parts

(Scherzando Concert Band). Little Concerto is a most useful solo item due to the fact that thekey and the range of the solo part mean it can be performed b yseveral different instruments, from flute to baritone. Little Concertoconsists of three movements: an Allegro written in classicalstyle, which alternates between tutti and soli passages; a secondmovement, sweet and calm, to fully display the richness of the soloinstrument s sound colours and finally an Allegro giocoso. It is afairly simple piece and is therefore particularly suitable for youngor inexperienced soloists who want to display their artistic skills.
