Nursery of the Gods: The Consciousness Paradigm, or the Science of Seth

Nursery of the Gods challenges the dominant scientific-materialist paradigm, which states that all reality has a material basis, and that consciousness arises from matter as a powerless epiphenomenon . This book offers an alternative view of reality, suggesting that consciousness is the basis of reality, and that matter is an expression of consciousness. Although this is still a controversial way of conceiving of reality, the weight of evidence is shifting, and it is now no longer possible to uphold a belief in materialism based on evidence. The evidence has, in fact, never been clearer: the physical universe, and everything in it, arises from consciousness, and not the other way around. And if consciousness is the basis of reality, that changes everything - how we conceive of ourselves and the other consciousnesses with which we share the planet, what our purpose is in being here, the meaning of our work and relationships, of life itself, and what awaits us after death. This first volume in the series examines the evidence and lays out the case for a consciousness-based view of reality, inspired by the pioneering philosophical work of Jane Roberts, author of the Seth material.
