Within the Fire: Following Jesus Example for Self Care while Serving Those in Need

The all-consuming fire of an unexpected tragedy or traumatic event, can leave individuals hurting, lost, confused and floundering without Hope .
You..., as a person serving someone in crisis,
choose in essence to step into the midst of their fiery event with them.
While our role is to serve those in the midst, we need to be aware that at times the fire we step into, can touch us.
As you bring peace and hope into the face of destruction, this fire touches you as well.
It can test you, drain you, burn up all your resources, and leave you in need.
