Struggle for My Soul

I don't know if my story will help or even interest you but I've been encouraged to tell how I went from a young minister to a cop and then a drug addict and then addicted to some perverse sex. Fresh out of Bible College I was asked to fill a position in my church. I married a lovely young girl who gave me a son. Everything that I wanted, I had.

Then, in a whirlwind of just a few weeks, everything just blew up. Kicked out of the church, my wife and son gone and, with my military exemption gone, the Army got me.

Out of the army, I was looking for a job and police departments were hiring. But, whatever it was that had tripped me seemed to haunt me. Several years into my new career even that began to unwind. A series of bad things happened. People who were supposed to be police officers but weren't, turned up missing. But when one, a key player turned up dead. Well, my life got complicated.

Statistics tell that over three quarters of people believe in spirits, both evil and good. I'm convinced that the temptations I suffered were more than what is of this world. I have given these spirits names from the apocrypha. El is always a reference to God. Baal is always evil.

Here's my story. It seems unworldly but this is a true story. Nothing is exaggerated. Of course, names, places and dates are changed because some of those involved are still around.

Also, this book is a not for profit endeavor. 100% of all royalties go to feed hungry children.
