Young language learners find tremendous success in age-appropriate imagery and repetition. Parents and teachers are encouraged to develop a child's ear as young as infancy through daily practice. This series is created with the assumption that the adult reader/teacher also does not know the foreign language - be that Spanish or English. Over time, however, both reader and listener will experience progress in pronunciation, vocabulary size, and vocabulary distinction - which is simply recognizing words being spoken by native speakers in normal, complex conversation. This is the very important first step in learning a new language.
