Making Room for Christ: A Lay Cistercian reflects on ways to make room for Christ in your mind and h

Spiritual reading is an important part of Lay Cistercian spirituality. One day, I decided to write down my Lectio Divina meditations and contemplations for my wife and daughter to read after my body has departed this world. This series of books is the result of my Lectio Divina encounters. I find these interesting ways to push off from my normal routine to go to the place where no one wants to look, my heart via my mind. This is a series of books based on those blogs. In silence and solitude, I recommend that you read each of the blogs three times and then wait. Yes, that's what I said, just wait. Here are a few of the topics inside. -Waiting for the master-Relax!-We are defined by our choices-Why Christ doesn't make sense.-Contemplative prayer as you wait out the Pandemic-Ten things you should know about the devil.-The Catholic Church is not at the core center of my life.-Profound listening-Five lessons that have shaped my life.
