Day Robert Became a Monster

Robert was a happy six year old boy who lived with his mom, their cat, and his awesome green wheelchair. He also secretly lived with several friendly monsters and fairies that had hidden their tiny sleeping spaces in the nooks of his bedroom. No one else but Robert could see them!

They surprise him, one night, by giving him (and his wheelchair) magical powers to come visit their world of wonder and inspiration. This is the story of his first adventure into their world, where he finds his place among their people. Now, a boy of both worlds, Robert gets to explore and grow as human AND as monster!

The Day Robert Became A Monster is a short, inclusive story that focuses on all creatures' natural ability to be kind and to become empowered in their own lives.
