The art of presenting one's own argument can take time to develop, and even longer to master. Many dread the thought of public speaking as developing original arguments and counter arguments can be daunting. Thinking of discussion topics spontaneously in front of an audience is intimidating for most individuals. However, what if one was to take away the audience and replace speech with writing, would that be slightly less confronting? Perhaps for some, but written forms of speeches and argumentative pieces in the form of essays can be equally daunting for others. Either way, in order to pass the GAMSAT the great obstacle to your medical career, one is bound to prepare for the daunting task of perfecting essays unless one wishes to approach it unprepared. This essay collection does not consist of perfect essays, but rather examples of essays that were written by myself in preparation of my own GAMSAT. Having successfully passed the GAMSAT and entered medical school, a collection of non-polished essays completed under time restrictions are published in this collection. This approach has been purposely chosen to assist future applicants with an insight into the preparation of a previous applicant and to learn from common errors.
