From its inception Sociology has served as an
exclusive repository of liberal theory and as a tool of the progressive left.
Sociologist Charles Moscowitz remedies this bias by offering an
alternative conservative social theory that opens the
door to the expansion of Sociology beyond its
traditional liberal base. Conservative social theory leads
us to re-examine social theories that emanate from the
work of influential social scientists including conflict
theory, feminism and critical theory.
Charles Moscowitz theorizes that conservatism embodies
the best ideals known to man and he audaciously
claims that conservatism is an anti-Ideology and, as such, is an
expression of that which is natural. Utilizing the
sociological imagination approach as proposed by Sociologist C.
Wright Mills, Mr. Moscowitz presents a conservative social
theory that he hopes might serve as the starting point
for a new school of sociological thought.
Charles Moscowitz is the author of numerous non-fiction books and is the host of Charles Moscowitz LIVE
on Rumble, iTunes and subscribing platforms.
