High in the mountains in the Fishlake National Forest in Southern Utah lives Pando, the world's largest tree. Pando is an aspen tree that looks like a whole forest! It's name means, "I spread" in Latin and it does! Covering a whopping 106 acres, it has over 40,000 stems connected by a single root system. With this activity and coloring book children can learn more about Pando and it's home while completing fun activities.
100% of proceeds from sales of this book go to help Friends of Pando protect the tree and educate people about this fascinating natural wonder. You can learn more about Pando and even "virtually visit" the tree on our website at friendsofpando.org.
