Life on Two Continents: Immigrating to the United States of America

Think of a barefooted seven-year-old boy living in the center of Africa on the Equator. Ask yourself what dreams this boy would have. This boy was me and I ended up working in the USA as an IT professional alongside other professionals from around the world.

Ask yourself, how can that be? How did it happen? This book gives answers in the form of stories. The life events unfolded step by step where I did not know the results beforehand. Yet, the pieces did fit together for good. For this reason, you will see why I believe my journey was not an accident. It was deliberately facilitated by divine forces beyond my control.

I am Lemuel Bugigi Turyex Guluka, and people call me Lem. I was born in Uganda - East Africa where I completed undergraduate work and later obtained a Master of Science Degree in the USA.

I still remember me being a barefooted little boy trekking 5 miles to school five days a week. It was not until boarding school rules mandated wearing shoes that my cousin bought a pair for me. One of my earliest goals was to earn a living where I would always have shoes and more than one shirt.

The most important thing that I have learned is the fact that we are not alone. We each have different Physical experiences, but we are on the same Spiritual journey. There is a designated right path to follow. Most importantly, we share the same loving creator who will be delighted to see us arrive at the designated divine destination.
