Women of Bible: Rebekah

Rebekah was a faithful believer. An affable, humble and hardworking woman. These qualities were essential to being the chosen wife of Isaac, the son of the patriarch Abraham. Because the Lord rewards his good children. Because of her great faith, good feelings, and gentleness, Rebekah became an excellent wife and mother of twins. All their conduct was based on loyalty to our Lord, the eternal Father. Rebekah never acted against her son Esau; nor did he want to favor his other son Jacob, but to follow the instructions that the Lord had entrusted to him.
