Description
Dominic Meringleo is a fictional character who survives the final battles of the First World War at the side of George S. Patton Jr. After the war, he marries and fathers a son, whom he names Albertino. Dominic takes Albertino with him to Washington DC for the 1932 Bonus Army march, where they again encounter Patton and Douglas MacArthur. After Dominic dies, his son enlists in the Army and is sent to Manila in 1941, where he comes face-to-face with Douglas MacArthur.
