Unbreakable Bond

In the Introduction to his latest book, An Unbreakable Bond: Finding God's Grace through our Brokenness, my friend and colleague Richard Williams, asks an extremely penetrating spiritual question which we should all be asking ourselves: "Is it, or is it not possible to have total and complete victory in every aspect of our lives, starting today?" If you are not sure of the answer to that question, I strongly recommend this powerful book for you. In chapter after chapter, Richard makes the point that it's not just about total salvation in the by-and-by when we all get to heaven. It's about total joyous victorious living day by day in the here and now, despite those life experiences that are designed by the Evil One to break our relationship with God and cause us to sin again and again. Richard's challenge to this victorious living is for those for whom the struggle to "be holy as I am holy, " has been one of striving, stumbling, repenting, and repeating the process. He freely admits that much of his life has been about just that - striving, stumbling, repenting, and repeating the process. "But it doesn't have to be that way," he boldly declares.
