The events of this story unfold around its protagonist, who sees his simple, everyday life change. Without meaning to, he embarks on a new and unexpected journey that transforms the course and meaning of things around him. He begins to interact with a world that is unfamiliar to him. Nothing is the same for him anymore. He needs answers: Where can he find them? Who should he ask? How should he deal with the unknown that is shaping his present? Does what he has experienced so far seem to be the awakening of his being?

The thread of the story is formed by the character's experiences as he seeks to understand this unexpected turn in his existence. He wonders why it started, how it happened, and why it continues to happen. Is everything in reality foreign and external or part of what we know or do not know?
