Urban design is the art of creating spaces which are public in nature and intended to be used by all. Derived from the idea of civic design at city level presently urban design is considered as the most recognized way to deal with urban complexities. This book contains a study of basics of urban design derived from various literature studies. It discusses the viewpoint of famous urban designers and showcases the methodology followed for urban design investigation at city level. The idea behind this work is not only to showcase what exists but also to share strategies and ways for future developments.
