More than 1,000 people from all across the country gathered in an interfaith service at Mosque Maryam in 2008. The program featured a special ceremonial orchestral in the balcony led by Maestro Charles Veale, Jr. and singer Stephanie Mills, clergy of a diverse spectrum of faiths, and culminated in a lecture by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on the oneness of humanity and the universal government of peace heralded by all messengers, and then an offering of a prayer of dedication by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and his National Assistant Minister Ishmael Muhammad.
