In 1882 in the small fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay, England, Abigail Huxley finds herself haunted by the ghost of her dead fiancé, William Johnson. Abby thinks that the haunting is a dream at first from the stress of her upcoming nuptials to Will's best friend, Frederick Evans.

The truth is revealed one night, when the ghost of William visits and awakens something inside her - a new found passion of the spirit and body. After she finds out that her beloved was murdered, Abby must decide what her future will be.
