Harbinger of Darkness

When an alien threat says surrender is the only path to survival, humanity's last hope lies with a crew of misfits, a cynical pirate, and a commander who has nothing left to lose.

Arenna thought she was done with the military. Laigin thought she was only looking out for her own survival in the dark corners of the Belt.

But when they are both dragged into a rescue mission for a missing pirate, they stumble onto a horror that threatens to rewrite the future of Sol System. They find a young woman stripped and bound to an alien column, her mind consumed by the Haruspex-an unstoppable cosmic hivemind. Now an empty vessel, she delivers a chilling ultimatum: Surrender or die.

To carry a warning-rather than a white flag-across the Belt, Arenna and Laigin must overcome their bitter mutual distrust, unite a fractured crew, and navigate The Outlier through an onslaught of shifting asteroids and planetary warfare.

Packed with sharp banter, slow-burn tension, and terrifying alien bio-horror, this character-driven space opera is perfect for fans of gritty sci-fi. Join The Outlier crew today!
