April 1912: Robert Morganson boards the R.M.S. Titanic. He carries with him a first edition of Futility, the novel whose haunting similarities to the great ship's design, voyage, fate, and even its very name disturb him more with each page he reads. A rational man, he resists superstition-but can't ignore the signs. What began as a simple crossing soon becomes a personal reckoning with fate, fear, and multiple faith traditions.
As the days slip by and disaster draws near, Robert chronicles everything in his journal: the people he meets, the questions he wrestles with, and the warnings no one seems to notice.
