Adventures of Tom Sawyer - A Musical: Book Four: Yarns 8, 9 & 10

One Saturday. One fence. And the greatest trick a boy ever pulled. When Aunt Polly trades Tom's golden Saturday for a bucket of whitewash and thirty yards of board fence, he becomes the saddest boy in St. Petersburg - until one magnificent idea turns the hated chore into a privilege the other boys line up and pay for. Kites, marbles, a brass doorknob, one dead rat on a string: by afternoon the poorest boy in town is the richest, the fence wears three whole coats, and Tom has stumbled onto a great law of human nature. Three more adventures from Mark Twain's beloved classic, retold for young readers in full-page paintings, with a hidden butterfly to find in every picture. Hear each story told aloud - and sung, in original folk ballads. A book to read, hear, and sing. The Americana RiverJet Reader Series - Ages 6-10 - Book Four of the series
