The story follows Mesh, a young boy who leaves his home in Talia to begin pilot training at Bohreas, a remote dome-city hidden within an arctic wilderness. Surrounded by advanced technology, ancient wisdom, and secrets buried deep beneath the snow, Mesh embarks on a journey that will reshape his understanding of his origins, his purpose, and of the universe itself. Meanwhile, a looming catastrophe draws ever closer: a dense meteoroid stream is expected to collide with the planet in seven years. Mesh becomes one of the Sotheri, a group of seven pilots trained to think and act as one, united in a mission to preserve life on the planet through the coming meteorite rain and the long winter that follows.
