New Machine Learning Models for Solar Radiation Predictions: Theory of Machine Learning Models for S

This book presents methods for predicting daily solar radiation using weather data from Tirana, Albania. It compares simple statistical models with advanced machine learning techniques like Random Forest and XGBoost. Results showed that machine learning models are far more accurate, reducing errors by nearly half. Clear-sky conditions are the most important factor, while humidity and rainfall also influence predictions.
